So it turns out that uni seems to shoot at us a never ending chain of exams that never ends. yes i didnt have to write the last bit of that sentence but i did to accentuate the never never ending long chain on exams we get.
Sat my final midsem exam -- physiology, and found out we have another prac exam next week for biochemistry. The week after that, we have another quiz exam for biochem yet again.
this just never ends...
I walked into my new room today, or at least what's been made of it. Its pretty much a big slab of smoothed concrete with a pipe sticking out for the toilet. Its pretty cool, they've put the bricks up around the sides on the first floor and built the stairs and upper level too. we're just waiting on the bricks to rise up on the second floor and the rest of the house to be built. exciting.
from my rent's veranda, you can even see the "UNSW" sign on the uni library.
since i'll be living so close to uni soon, i'm thinking of riding a bike to uni everyday, to build up those dream thighs every girl wishes for, and just because bikes are cool 8)
i really would like to ride/own a scooter/motor bike. i think where i live has a heavy responsibility for this influence which made me realise where you live, really DOES mould you in one way or another, even without you realising it.
also, i've been looking around those korean websites for those emo boots that they sell at wanted. I've really been wanting a pair since sometime mid/late last year but just never found a shop that sold em.
Turns out this small shop in bondi just outside sells a cool pvc/shiny pair in mauve, black or red for $200.
Still can't find the perfect pair of boots however. Still looking.
Our family is going out for spanish tonight. We havent had a family dinner in so long, and its quite rare seeing as we're all so busy at such different times. Should be fun. Did you know Churro's and sangria originated from Spain?
I also just got an email from uni and looks like for my elective next year, theres this cool one about learning about the 'land' in broken hill for 2 weeks and creating a creative project for 6 weeks, and its run by COFA. Its running during the july holidays which would be perfect and costs $500 because of accommodation, transport etc to and from broken hill. Thinking of taking this up after some discussion with rents. Should be interesting.
I dont know whether Peter still reads my blogs but HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PETER!
